Day 01.- Iquitos in – Bird Watching at the top of Trees
River and its vegetation in Pacaya SamiriaWelcome and reception in the international airport of Iquitos. Transfer to the lodge. Along our way we will start our adventure observing different kinds of birds like herons and birds in the edges. Arriving at the lodge and accommodation, after we are comfortable in our bedrooms we will enjoy a delicious lunch. After a rest, we will go directly to the lookout, ideal place to observe the birds in the cups of the trees and the outskirts. After this amazing experience we will return to the lodge and have dinner. We will also have a chat about the activities of the following day. Overnight.

Day 02.- Trekking – Islands in the Marañon river
With the first light of the day, we will start a trek in the forest, that encircles the lodge, to observe the birds that are closer to us, we can see the Blue-crowned, the Wire-tailed and the Beat-headed Manakin, also trogons, like Heron in Pacaya Samiriathe Black-throated trogon and several specimens of ant hills. Among them, we will see the white-flanked ant wren, the commercial-winged ant shrike and the rare Black-crested Ant shrike. Lunch ensues shortly. Afterwards, in the company and assistance of our specialized guide, we will focus on the river islands specimens, like the White-headed Marsh Tyrant, Lesser-wagtail Tyrant, Castelnau's Ant shrike, Parker' s and White-bellied Spine tail, Lesser Bakers, Oriole Blackbird, Little Woodpecker, among others. Return to the lodge. We will have Dinner and we will chat about the activities of the following day. Overnight.

Day 03.- Nauta – Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
Right after the breakfast, we will start our tour by boarding an embarkation on Hummingbirdthe Marañon River toward the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (NRPS), to the zone of the Quebrada Nauta, a rich zone in bird life. Along the way we will observe different types of animals and in the adjoining trees we will be able to observe mixed flocks of Tanagers. After enjoying his experience we will return to the lodge to have a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit a nearby community to know the way of life of the Amazonian settlers, while observing several birds on the way. Return to the lodge. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 04, 05 y 06.- Yarina River
During these days we will start the exploration in Pacaya Samiria, nearby the Yanayacu river area. We will visit lakes, we will follow the trails in the Yanayacu riverforest, varzea and igapu. In addition, we will perform nocturnal excursions in search of owls and nocturnal birds. It is important to know that all this area has been recently open to tourism, that’s why we can find an abundance of flora and fauna. The accommodations are based in tents, whether in river beaches or in clear areas in the forest. In the following days, we will be able to observe pink and gray dolphins, aquatic tortoises, different kinds of primates, sloths, among other animals. This unforgettable contact with nature will make us forget the city and internalize into a different environment. On the 6th day and after lunch we will undertake the trip of return to the lodge.

Day 07.- Free Morning – Iquitos out
Mañana libre para relajarse o continuar Little Macaw in Pacaya SamiriaWe will have the morning free to relax and continue with activities near the lodge. At an appropriate time, we will return to the city of Iquitos to board the flight to Lima.
